Keeping arts and crafts in a more organized area will be a lot nicer and safer for the children. We all see the movies where the little kid takes off with the glue and starts eating it, but, if you have an area just for the kids to craft its less likely they're going to be eating glue. And that is mainly because you can keep an eye on the children a lot better rather then having them sit anywhere in the classroom. Also, it can help prevent the child from choking on small objects that they could be using during craft time. And, you could have designated cubbies (drawers) to put the scissors, glue, tape, markers, and crayons. By doing so you can have the kids put the objects in the right cubbies so it will help them with organization skills.

Keeping resting mats in the class room will make nap time a lot more comfortable. No one wants to sleep on a hard floor. You could easily go and get small carpet and keep it in a stack in the corner of the classroom, and when nap time comes you have the children go and grab their mat and lay down. Now, with the mat is also teaches children to pick up after themselves. You could after the nap times have every kid pick up their mat and put it in a nice pile (which will help with teaching the child organization). So having mats can benefit in many ways in a daycare/pre-school/grade school.

Playgrounds at a pre-school are very important for young children. It helps with physical fitness, motor skills, and social skills. And of course, it helps keep the kid focused by adding a play time outdoors. Having playground equipment also helps with physical fitness by getting the kid moving and engaging in using their muscles for things such as: Monkey Bars, swings, merry-go-rounds, climbing, hop-scotch and many other things. It helps the kids muscles grow with their bodies. Also, playgrounds add to motor skills. When a child is on the monkey bars their brain helps them to decide when to let go and reach for the other bar, and soon the child can start skipping bars because he/she gets a better sense with ones body. And lastly, children can develop social skills. Kids need to be able to get out and make friends and talk to others. And playground equipment also helps engage kids in socializing with others that are engaging in the same activity as they are. And honestly, after a day of schooling and learning every child needs a break and to go play with others to help keep them focused during the rest of their learning day.
